BrightHouse relies on the generosity of the community to support our mission of assisting adults, children and youth to a life free from domestic violence. Monetary and in-kind donations ensure survivors have the items and care they need. 100% of your contribution helps families in our four county service area who experience domestic and sexual violence.
WHY IS MY DONATION SO IMPORTANT?
When you decide to give to an organization, you may ask yourself, “Where does my money actually go?” When you donate to BrightHouse, your money stays local. At BrightHouse, with your support, we are able to provide a variety of services with adults and children in our community.
We provide healthy relationship and safe dating education to area middle and high school students. We provide safe shelter, meals and support for survivors of domestic or sexual violence and his or her children. We can provide the first month’s rent and a new beginning for a woman and her children who have fled a violent situation. We provide legal, court and medical advocacy as well as other support to survivors of domestic or sexual violence. In addition, our Child Visitation and Exchange Center provides safe, supervised visitation when it’s not safe or healthy for a child to spend time with one of their parents in the home.
We serve survivors in Reno, Rice, Kingman and Harper counties. Your donation, no matter how big or small, helps survivors who are fleeing from violent situations.
You can donate online, mail a check, or bring donations to our office in person.
