GLOW AND KNOW
At BrightHouse, we work to bring victims of abuse out of the shadows and into the light. We help those we serve shine, and work towards a brighter future for our community. When we walk with our allies, we outshine the darkness of abuse.
EVENTS
We’re constantly seeking new ways to bring attention to the important issue of abuse. By hosting and participating in local events, we can show the impact BrightHouse services have in our communities.
Glow & Know
This event will raise awareness about sexual assault and consent while celebrating Carey Park as a welcoming and safe community space for all.
The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in front of the Hutchinson Zoo at 6 Emerson Loop E. Families, students and residents are invited to enjoy a night filled with fun, connection, and education. All activities are free and include inflatables, yard games, a live DJ, giveaways, food trucks offering a variety of treats, and a special appearance by Miss Kansas, Alexis Smith.
Light The Way 5K
On May 22, 2022, BrightHouse and the Hutchinson community came together to Light The Way to End Abuse. Participants were able to make their way through the Stratica Salt Mines using flashlights and glow sticks.
