Domestic violence (battering) is a pattern of abusive and coercive behavior used to gain dominance, power, and control over an intimate partner. It includes the use of illegal and legal behaviors and tactics that undermine the victim’s sense of self, free will, and safety.

The BrightHouse peer support group for LGBTQ+ adults is held in a secure location. Additionally, we screen new members to ensure safety of everyone. The purpose is to provide a safe space for individuals to find their path to healing.

Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Support Groups meet weekly and LBGTQ+ meet every other week. Come in to our main office to get signed up.
This group is a safe space to work on healing and growth, no matter where you are in your journey.
