Safe Shelter House Relief Staff

Part-time – Various shifts available – daytime, evening, weekend & overnight​

Must pass a KBI Background Check​

​

Shelter Relief Staff are responsible for providing support and community resource information to residents and crisis line callers while maintaining a safe, stable environment.​

 

• Ensure the safety and security of program residents by monitoring activity in the house, performing safety checks of the building, and reporting all problems in a timely manner

• Keep accurate and complete records of all activities

• Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment, (i.e. cleaning of shared use areas, cleaning the room to prepare for a new resident)

• Maintain the structure and policies of the program

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Take direction from full-time Advocates

• Participate in staff agency meetings and required trainings

• Provide supportive listening to residents

• Perform other duties as required

This is a part-time, non-exempt position

$13.37 per hour
