Envista Credit Union is pleased to announce that it will highlight BrightHouse Abuse Support Center through the EnvistaCares Challenge during the month of December.
The EnvistaCares Challenge includes a challenge grant, media and marketing package, and an organizational storytelling video. Through the challenge grant, Envista will match every dollar given to BrightHouse during the month of December up to $2,500. Giving can be done online at www.envistacares.com. The media package provided to BrightHouse by Envista is valued at more than $12,000 and includes a month of promotion through billboards, emails, social media and radio. Finally, Envista supports the production of a video for BrightHouse to use to share their message and encourage members of the community to not only give, but to join in and consider becoming a partner.
“The stories that come to us every day in the BrightHouse offices can be overwhelming, but it is also incredibly satisfying to be there with what a survivor needs so their family can be safe. That can be a warm bed and a meal, a bus ticket out of town, rent on a new apartment or help with medical needs. BrightHouse helps rebuild lives with both practical and emotional support,” said Sue Wray, executive director of Brighthouse. “Thanks to Envista and our community for supporting us through the EnvistaCares Challenge, which will help us continue this important mission.”
BrightHouse provides confidential non-judgmental support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; with the vision to eliminate the need for their services by developing a community free from abuse. BrightHouse serves Reno, Rice, Kingman and Harper counties. BrightHouse provides a Safe Shelter House as well as Victim Advocacy Services that include medical, legal and law enforcement assistance.
“It is our goal to highlight organizations doing great work in our community, while encouraging our community to give,” said Holly Herman, branch manager for Envista. “Our goals at Envista are to lead, inspire, and impact. BrightHouse is an incredible example of an organization that leads, inspires and makes an extraordinary impact on our community. We are honored to support them.”
